World Habitat Day

     Today is World Habitat Day.
Remember when I told you about my trip to the Habitat for Humanity Global Village in Americus, Georgia? (Model shanty town pictured below.) I actually saw living conditions like this in Nairobi when my husband and I honeymooned in Kenya. As far as the eye could see, there were ramshackle structures pieces together with wire and duct tape. No running water, no electricity, no sewers. No human should have to live that way.
Maybe even more amazing, there are people in the U.S.A. who's living conditions aren't much better.
So, today I want to bring your attention to the need because maybe there's a little something you could do that could help somebody live a better life. Click here to learn more.
